Join us for an afternoon of sweet and savoury indulgence on Chowbella’s most popular food tour where your guide will take you on a leisurely stroll through Toronto’s trendy Queen and King West neighbourhoods, discovering fun and delicious ways to enjoy these decadent delights, while being treated like VIPS the entire time.
With ‘behind-the-scenes’ access to shopkeepers and their specialty foods, stops include a modern tea boutique, a ‘cupcakes-only’ shop, a poutinerie, a gourmet cheese restaurant and an artisan chocolate factory! If you’re looking to enjoy an afternoon of ooey, gooey proportions, this tour is for you!

What do you get when you combine candy apples, corn tortillas and sheep’s milk ice cream with a prison, a toy factory and World War II? The answer: a fun, tasty and historic walking tour of one of Toronto’s trendiest neighbourhoods – Liberty Village. Join us as we explore the past and present of this vibrant urban pocket, experiencing the modern amenities, dining hotspots and quaint gourmet food shops while meandering through the cobblestone paths and learning about the historical significance of this former warehouse district.
Stops include a newly opened Mediterranean-styled restaurant, a Parisian-inspired bistro, a chocolate confectionary, an authentic Mexican café, a local Ontario cheese shop and more.

City Mouse , Country Mouse™ is a unique “legend dairy” cheese–focused culinary experience hosted by CHEESEWERKS and Chowbella. Enjoy a full day in the country visiting farmers, artisan cheese producers and tasting local fare. Return to the city in the late afternoon for an Artisan Cheese + Craft Beer pairing and dining event.
Experience for yourself how local cheese is made from farm to table. Listen, learn and shop from artisans from across the region with tastings along the route. Lunch will be served at a casual restaurant that was recently featured on Food Network’s hit show, You Gotta Eat Here.
Tour is guided by CHEESEWERKS’ Big Cheese, Kevin Durkee and Chowbella founder, Trina Hendry.

Walks can be arranged for any day of the week, including Saturdays (provided there aren’t any public tours booked).
